The Sta-Rite P-STR-071 pump is designed and 100% manufactured in Italy at the Pentair plant in Pisa. The P-STR series is the result of precision fiberglass-reinforced molding, creating a lightweight yet extremely durable construction capable of high-pressure operation. The asynchronous motor with thermal protection (for single-phase version) and SKF bearings ensure long life and trouble-free operation.

Thanks to the self-priming diffuser, the pump reaches maximum performance within seconds of startup, which is especially important in installations with long suction lines. The built-in pre-filter with a large-capacity basket (XL) traps leaves, sand, and other debris, protecting the impeller and downstream filtration components. This solution significantly extends cleaning intervals and reduces maintenance frequency.

The pump is suitable for salt water up to 0.4% (4 g/L), making it an ideal choice for salt chlorine generator pools. All internal parts are made of high-quality stainless steel or thermoplastic materials, and the motor shaft is bimetallic with AISI 304 steel drive.
