Accessibility Statement

The online store tarabaseny.com.pl is operated by a microenterprise within the meaning of the Polish Entrepreneurs' Law (an enterprise employing fewer than 10 persons).

Under the Polish Act of 26 April 2024 on ensuring the accessibility of certain products and services, which implements Directive (EU) 2019/882 — the European Accessibility Act (EAA) — microenterprises providing services are exempt from service accessibility obligations.

This statement is informational and voluntary — we publish it to describe the accessibility measures applied in the service and to enable reporting of issues.

§1. Entity status and scope

The service provider is a microenterprise (fewer than 10 employees), benefiting from the service accessibility exemption provided for microenterprises under the Polish Accessibility Act (EAA).

This statement applies to the e-commerce service provided at www.tarabaseny.com.pl, covering in particular:

• browsing and searching for products,
• adding products to the cart,
• the ordering and payment process,
• customer account management,
• access to informational content and legal documents.

This statement was prepared on the basis of a self-assessment carried out using the WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines and the EN 301 549 standard.

§2. Voluntary compliance status

Although the formal accessibility obligation does not apply to us, we voluntarily strive for conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA. The website is currently partially compliant — we are continuously working to remove remaining barriers.

§3. Accessibility measures

The service implements, among others, the following accessibility measures:

• a "Skip to content" link allowing users to bypass navigation,
• keyboard navigation — all key functions are available without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator,
• semantic heading structure and landmarks supporting screen readers,
• ARIA labels for interactive elements (buttons, switches, dialogs),
• alternative text for product images,
• sufficient contrast for text and interface elements,
• responsive design — the service works correctly when zoomed and on mobile devices,
• minimum 44px touch targets for interactive elements,
• form error messages associated with fields and announced to assistive technologies.

§4. Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some areas may not be fully accessible:

• some automatically generated content (e.g. wholesaler product descriptions) may have incorrect heading structure or missing alternative text,
• certain embedded third-party elements (payment widgets, maps) may not meet all criteria — they remain outside our direct control,
• older PDF documents may not be fully accessible.

If you encounter a barrier, please report it — we will endeavour to provide the content in an alternative form.

§5. Preparation and review of this statement

This statement was prepared on the basis of a self-assessment and testing with automated tools and keyboard navigation. It is reviewed and updated whenever significant changes are made to the service, at least once a year.
