Product Description

The Hayward PL 81006 pump is an advanced unit designed for water circulation and filtration in residential pools up to 75 m³. With a flow rate of 15 m³/h (at 8 m head) and 1 HP (0.73 kW output power), the pump effectively moves water, ensuring constant circulation and proper filtration system operation. The single-phase motor (220–240 V, 4 A) features a low noise level of only 70 dB, allowing comfortable operation even near relaxation areas.

The pump construction uses durable materials: a glass fiber reinforced polypropylene housing resistant to impacts and weather conditions, and an AISI 304 stainless steel shaft for long service life. IP55 protection rating ensures safe outdoor operation, and a maximum salt concentration of 5 g/L allows use in freshwater pools (not recommended for saltwater). The pump includes a pre-filter with a 1.1 L basket that traps large debris, protecting the impeller and mechanical seal.

Installation is simple and flexible – a 50 mm connection allows gluing to PVC piping, and included 32/38 mm adapters enable use of flexible hose. The unit can be installed above water level, increasing technical layout options. Thanks to the transparent pre-filter lid and drain valve, daily maintenance and winterization are quick and convenient. Note that an additional motor protection switch is required during installation.
