Description

The Hayward HCP40553E centrifugal pump with strainer basket is an advanced unit designed for water filtration and circulation in commercial pools. The HCP series was developed by Hayward as a reliable alternative to heavy cast iron and bronze pumps. Using lightweight, durable fiberglass-reinforced thermoplastic, the pump is easy to install and corrosion-resistant.

Noryl hydraulic components allow operation with saltwater and seawater, making this model ideal for coastal facilities and salt-chlorinated pools. The large-capacity strainer basket (14 liters) with a transparent lid secured by 4 stainless steel screws provides easy access and quick cleaning. The high-power TEFC motor (4.7 kW) ensures stable operation at a flow rate of 76 m³/h.

The pump features a raised base that improves ventilation and protects the motor from moisture. This model is designed for 380 V (three-phase) power supply – connection and motor protection switch setup must be performed by a qualified electrician according to the nameplate. Regular servicing and replacement of consumables are required to maintain the 24-month warranty.
