High chloride concentrations in salt pools can be fatal for ordinary pumps – here, the AISI 316 stainless steel shaft guarantees full corrosion resistance. With such high flow, the pump draws water with great force – during tree pollen or leaf fall seasons, we recommend checking the pre-filter basket every 2-3 days. Important technical note: The LX SWIM100M pump is a true performance "monster." With a flow of 20 m³/h, it must not be connected to small filters (below 600 mm diameter) – excessive pump force in a small filter will cause media channeling and sand ejection into the pool. For this model, we recommend filters with a diameter of 600–700 mm. We also recommend that the hydraulic installation in the equipment room be made with pipes of at least 63 mm diameter (at least on the suction side) to prevent pump starvation and ensure quiet operation.
