Thanks to its solid construction made of thermoplastic material resistant to UV, moisture, and pool chemicals, the pump maintains full efficiency even during prolonged use in harsh outdoor conditions. The 1.5 HP (1.1 kW) motor powered by 220 V (single-phase) easily handles pressure losses on long pipe runs and when the equipment pad is elevated relative to the water level.
The unit is equipped with an enlarged pre-filter with a transparent cover, allowing quick inspection of the basket's dirt level. It effectively traps sand, leaves, and other large debris, protecting the impeller and the entire filtration system from clogging. The transparent cover is a practical convenience – you can check if the basket needs emptying without disassembly, speeding up daily maintenance.
The Aquaviva LX STP150M pump is perfect for large residential pools, spa systems, and mariculture installations. Thanks to its high flow and 1.5 HP power, it easily overcomes pressure losses on long pipe runs and when the equipment pad is elevated. To fully utilize its potential and reduce flow resistance, we recommend installation with 63 mm diameter pipes (on the suction side) and use of low-resistance filter media such as AFM glass. Regular maintenance and installation of a motor protection switch are required to maintain the manufacturer's warranty.
