Description

The Hayward ProSide S240SIE sand filter is a versatile unit designed for residential and recreational pools up to 56,000 L. It uses mechanical filtration through a sand bed, with optimal media selection ensuring efficient filtration down to 40 microns. The high-quality polyethylene housing resists corrosion and UV radiation, making it ideal for outdoor installation even in harsh conditions.

With the original 6-position valve, switching between filtration, backwash, rinse, circulate, waste, and closed is simple and intuitive. The 360° rotating clamp greatly simplifies service – no tools needed to remove the lid. The large drain opening speeds up draining, and the transparent strainer cover allows real-time debris monitoring.

The filter operates at up to 2 bar pressure, has a flow rate of 14 m³/h, and features 1.5" side-mount connections. Sand load is 125 kg, ensuring stable operation all season. A 24-month warranty provides peace of mind for long-term use.
