Description

The Emaux SDB800 sand filter is an advanced unit designed for mechanical water treatment in pools up to 100 m³. Thanks to high-quality fiberglass and composites, the housing is exceptionally resistant to corrosion, moisture, and harmful UV rays. It can be installed indoors or outdoors in full sun without concern for reduced lifespan.

The filtering medium is quartz sand with a 0.5–0.8 mm fraction, which traps mechanical impurities for crystal-clear water. The extra bed height (1.2 m) compared to standard filters results in better filtration quality and longer intervals between backwashes. The built-in 4-inch sight glass allows quick assessment of sand dirtiness, and the 158 mm side service hatch facilitates maintenance and media replacement.

The filter is equipped with two-level laterals that ensure even water flow through the entire bed, maximizing filtration efficiency. The 2-inch (63 mm) side connection simplifies installation into existing hydraulic systems.
