Description
The Emaux MFS27A sand filter is an advanced mechanical water treatment unit designed for residential pools and spa installations. Made from high-strength polyethylene (PE), it features a one-piece blow-molded housing with a transparent clamp-on top lid. Its construction resists increased working pressure, varying ambient and water temperatures, and corrosion – making it suitable for use in all weather conditions.
The MFS27 model uses 1½" (50 mm) side-mount connections and a universal multiport valve for quick mode changes. The sand load is 185 kg, which at a flow rate of 14.4 m³/h provides efficient water filtration for pools up to 58,000 L. It also includes a drain plug and a high-pressure drainage system to simplify maintenance and winterizing.
