Description

The Emaux GAC900 sand filter is an advanced mechanical water filtration device for residential pools and spas. The housing is made of fiberglass-reinforced polymer, providing exceptional mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. An additional protective layer shields the filter from moisture and UV radiation, allowing it to operate in full sun without risk of material degradation.

With a recommended pool capacity of up to 110,000 liters, the GAC900 is ideal for large backyard pools as well as commercial facilities with moderate usage. The package includes a 6-position side-mount valve, fittings, and a pressure gauge – everything you need for quick setup. Thanks to the 2″ (63 mm) side connection, installation is straightforward and compatible with most pool plumbing.

The filter features innovative solutions for everyday use: a transparent lid for real-time media monitoring, an air relief valve to prevent air locking, and a high-pressure sand/water drain that reduces winterizing time. The sand load is 750 kg, ensuring long cycles between backwashes and excellent filtration quality.
