Description

The Hayward ProGrid DE4820 filter is the most effective water purification solution for residential and commercial pools. Using diatomaceous earth technology combined with a nylon grid module, it achieves filtration down to 2-5 microns, reducing chemical usage by an average of 50–70%. Made from reinforced polyester, resistant to UV and moisture, it ensures long life and reliability.

The one-piece construction with base simplifies installation and minimizes the risk of leaks. The curved grid design streamlines backwashing and maintenance. Diatomaceous earth is recommended as the filter media. Note: when using DE filters, water treatment with algaecides based on quaternary ammonium compounds (PHMB) and flocculants is not recommended. Valve SP0715XR50E sold separately.
