Description
The Waterline SW550/140 5-position automatic valve is designed for user convenience and safety. Its main task is to automatically change the position of the switch on the pool filter – according to a schedule set by a timer or smart Wi-Fi system. This allows the filter to automatically go through filtration, backwash, and additional rinse cycles. The valve is equipped with a 24 V electric drive, ensuring safe low voltage in a water environment and enabling integration with photovoltaic or battery systems.
Ultracapacitor technology is a key innovation – in the event of a power failure, the valve automatically returns to the gear position and locks in a safe operating mode for several cycles, preventing sand/dirt from entering the pool during automatic filter draining. No additional compressor is required – all mechanical actuators are already inside the housing. The adjustable angle of the inlet and outlet ports allows installation on a filter with a 125 mm hole spacing (1 1/2" outer diameter). The manual override button is hidden under a protective cap – easy to access and change positions when manual operation is needed.
